A game of letter-writing in a mythical China
I am so proud of this game. It’s a true labor of love. You and a friend write letters as characters in a Xianxia setting, or mythical ancient China. Xianxia is one of my favorite genres. I’m obsessed, I’m reading/watching whatever I can find, I’m learning to speak Mandarin. Full autistic special interest, LMAO.
Far From Home was written for my friends, game jam, which in turn is for a bundle to support people involved in the Prisoner Correspondence Program which we’ve just started working with. The proceeds of this game and my share of the bundle I’ll link when it’s live will go towards buying stamps and envelops so I can keep sending letters to my new penpal.
